Ground
Hotels, transfers and in-resort reps. We contract more than 150 properties directly and run our own Proton Group fleet, so nothing is left to a third party.
We're ProtonClub, the inbound travel agency based here in Albania. We help European operators sell a country their clients are only just discovering, and we run every trip on the ground ourselves. Our joint venture with Avra Tours connects us straight into the European market.
Since 2023, ProtonClub has made Albania easy to sell and reliable to run. We contract the hotels, move the guests, design the trips and open up the distribution. Tell us once what you need, and we handle everything from arrival to departure. And when it matters, a real person always answers the phone.
Why partner with usYour travellers' whole trip is handled by one team. No chain of subcontractors, and no surprises once they land.

Riviera days, UNESCO towns, alpine treks, MICE and incentives. We design itineraries that are easy to sell and hard to forget.
A B2B extranet, XML and API, plus the Avra channel into Europe's operators. You book Albania the same way you already work.
Two seas, two UNESCO towns and a mountain range, all a few hours apart rather than a few days. Here's the shortlist. Tap any place to read its story.
ProtonClub runs Albania. Avra Tours, a Cretan DMC with three decades in the European market, runs the channel to the operators. Together, the joint venture connects Albania to demand that would take years to build alone.
Charter, group and online demand from Avra's established source markets, including the UK, Switzerland, Italy and the Nordics.
Our joint-venture partner and our route into that network. Nearly thirty years of operator relationships, now open to Albania.
Contracting, transfers, experiences and a 24/7 duty desk, all delivered on the ground in Albania.

What we're seeing in the market, and how to programme it before everyone else catches on.
Pick a style, a starting point and how long you have. Our AI writes a day-by-day Albania itinerary in seconds, then sends it to our team half-ready, so we turn it into a real, bookable trip. Or, if you prefer, just send us your choices without AI and we will build the itinerary for you. Every request reaches us at [email protected].
What operators and travellers ask us most often before they book.
A DMC, or destination management company, is the local partner that runs a trip on the ground. ProtonClub contracts hotels, operates airport transfers, designs itineraries, supplies guides and keeps a 24/7 duty desk in Albania. Tour operators sell the holiday, and we deliver everything that happens once travellers land.
We cover more than 20 destinations across the whole country. On the coast: Ksamil, Sarandë, Dhërmi, Himarë, Vlorë and Durrës. Inland and cultural: Berat, Gjirokastër, Butrint, Apollonia, Krujë and Korçë. In the mountains: Theth, Valbona, Shkodër and the Llogara pass, plus Lake Ohrid and the Blue Eye.
The shoulder seasons are best. Late May into June, and September into October, give warm sea temperatures, open mountain trails and noticeably fewer crowds than July and August, which are now genuinely busy on the southern coast. The Theth to Valbona trail is usually open from mid-May to October.
Tirana International Airport is the main gateway and handled around 10.7 million passengers in 2024. Vlora International Airport opened in summer 2025 on the southern coast, built for roughly 2 million passengers a year, which puts the Albanian Riviera a short transfer from a runway for the first time.
Yes. We contract more than 150 properties directly across Albania and run our own Proton Group fleet, so transfers, coaches and in-resort representation are handled by one team rather than a chain of subcontractors. Transfers run from both Tirana and Vlora airports.

Albania is still noticeably cheaper than Greece or Croatia for a comparable stretch of coast and a comparable meal by the sea. That price gap is a large part of why the country welcomed about 11.7 million visitors in 2024, and why UN Tourism ranked it among the fastest-growing destinations in the world.
